This paper focuses on the analysis of the alternative economic model: the Economy of the Common Good, with the aim of identifying and evaluating the potential policies, measures and public instruments of application for the promotion of companies following this model.

The paper is divided into three parts. First of all a characterization and analysis of the Common Businesses (EsCG) is carried out in order to obtain the common nexus with the economic model of the ECG together with the contributions of the Social Economy and the Solidarity Economy, among others. In the second part, the main arguments established by the public intervention in favour of the companies of the Common Good are analysed. To finish, the third part presents and analyses the different measures of public policy with a concrete proposal for the promotion of the EsCG in the Spanish State..
