On 23 October, the Director of the EBC Chair, Joan Ramón Sanchis, will participate in the II Conference on Corporate Social Responsibility: Financial Institutions, organised by the Cajasiete Chair for Social and Cooperative Economy of the University of La Laguna.
The conference aims to learn about the actions carried out by financial institutions in the field of social and ethical sustainability on the road to sustainability. In this way, the aim is to show the first approaches that credit cooperatives are taking, taking into account the social component that is embedded in their founding principles, as well as to analyse the commitment of banks to a sustainable society from the point of view of "human and environmental welfare".
The Director of the EBC Chair, Joan Ramón Sanchis, will give the lecture “Social responsibility and ethics in banking: the road to sustainability”, on 23 October, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
