The director of the EBC Chair, Joan Ramón Sanchis, is taking part in the 1st National Congress on Social Responsibility and Cooperativism, to be held on 23 and 24 January 2019 at the Marie Curie Auditorium (Universitat de València’s Science Park - Paterna).

The cooperative model of business management has today become one of the most successful examples due to its integration of ethical values and its contribution to society as the cornerstones of its economic sustainability.
The principles and values that for years have been a benchmark of cooperatives have now been integrated as fundamental elements of the Social Responsibility proposal.

In this sense, cooperation with different stakeholders and a close relationship with them are contributions that the social economy has made to the development of a business model based on ethical values and social responsibility.

With this objective in mind, Burjassot Town Council and its public company CEMEF are launching the 1st edition of the National Congress on Social Responsibility and Cooperativism, with the global title “The company we need: responsible, sustainable and cooperative”.

A congress that on 23 and 24 January 2019 will bring together different people, professional profiles, companies and national institutions that are currently working on economic, business and social development.
