Eighth Meeting of the European Network for the Sociological and Demographic Study of Divorce

14-16th October 2010 in Valencia, Spain

Dear colleague,

This year the Eighth Meeting of the European Network for the Sociological and Demographic Study of Divorce will occur in Valencia, Spain.

Papers considering the causes, the procedures or consequences of divorce are welcome. As in former meetings, both theoretical and empirical studies are welcome. Special emphasis is given to cross-national analyses.

The format of the meeting is also similar to previous meetings, with regular paper sessions and time enough for discussions. The conference will start on the morning of October 14th and will end in the afternoon of the 16th. The location will be in the center of Valencia.

SUBMISSIONS: Abstracts (150 to 200 words) can be sent by e-mail before 15th of May 2009 to EurNetDivorce2010@uv.es

After this deadline, the abstracts will be evaluated as soon as possible and a complete program will be set up. We encourage writing complete papers until one week before the meeting.

More information concerning the meeting will be sent once the website of the conference will be ready.
