The European SkyRad users network (ESR) is a joint initiative from the Institute of Atmospheric and Climate Sciences (ISAC) at the National Research Council (CNR) in Italy, the Group of Solar Radiation (GRSV) at the University of Valencia (UV) in Spain, and the Plymouth Marine Laboratory (PML) at the National Environmental Research Centre (NERC) in United Kingdom.
The ESR users network is aimed at implementing and providing a common algorithmical and instrumental methodology for the measurement, calibration and data processing of sun and sky photometric data for atmospheric aerosol characterisation.
The ESR users network provides a complete set of open source codes and tools for the manual and automatic analysis of multi-instrumental photometric databases. The network is therefore conceived as a collaborative platform for those groups whose main research is focused on atmospheric aerosols characterisation and model development.
