Inscriptions to the University Debate League will remain open until 29 September. A dialectical competition between two student teams to debate about current controversies. A Universitat de València, a Local Stage is organised for training and inner league. A representative team for the UV is selected among the students for the Vives Universities Network League.

The Local Stage takes place in October and November at Espai Vives. After their admission, students will take the Speaking in public training to prepare their spoken discourses in order to convince others and dynamics to overcome stage fright. This course will be in charge of UV Department of Catalan Philology professor Gonçal López-Pampló Rius, Department of Catalan Language Didactics professor Maria Saiz Raimundo, actor and playwright Daniel Tormo and a debate expert. After their traiing, students will be divided i teams to participate in the Universitat de València Inner League, between 25 and 27 November, with prizes for the winners and the best orator.

Among the participants of the Local Stage, UV will select the representative team for the Vives Network University Debate League 2025-2026, located at Alicante University
