After a time of mobility and capacity restrictions in public spaces, and in the light of the pandemic’s positive developments, the Universitat de València’s Chair for a Sustainable Economic Model of Valencia and its Surroundings – MESVAL, with the support of the Valencia City Council, announces its third annual congress, to be held on October 27^th, 28^th and 29^th 2021 in Valencia, Spain.

The city of Valencia will welcome national and international researchers during three days to debate on different proposals, reflections and analyses bringing cities closer to a sustainable, inclusive, open, innovative and diverse economic model. This will all be done in a hybrid format.

The academic community is welcome to present works usefully contributing to cities advancing towards respectful economic models with its citizens and wealth creators in long term, understanding sustainability as the final goal for all kinds of growth proposal.

Dates and deadlines:

• Proposal submission: until July 10^th 2021
• Communication of accepted proposals: July 20^th 2021
• Reduced fee registration: until July 30^th 2021
• Submission of final drafts: until September 30^th 2021
• Congress holding: from October 27^th to 29^th 2021
