The Universitat de València, by means of the Office of the Vice-Principal for Territorial  Projection and Society and Instituts d’Estudis Valencians (FedinesPV), organise their tenth annual meeting, this time with a conference centred on territorial development and the future challenges of the regional cohesion of the Valencian Community, particularly regarding territorial networks.

The conference addresses current territorial matters, such as the recent territorial and social imbalances, with the most worrying issue being the depopulation of rural areas. The current situation was only made worse by the irruption of the COVID-19 pandemic. With such circumstances, it’s important to collectively reflect on the different territorial network models, their challenges and opportunities.

This free and open-to-the-public academic initiative is the result of the fructuous collaboration between the University, the Institutes of Regional Studies (*IDECOS) and FedinesPV with the goal of boosting the exchange of experiences and the development of territorial alliances.
