Lliga de Debat Universitària 2023. Open registration
“És sostenible el turisme?” (Valencian for Is tourism sustainable?) is the motto of the Lliga de Debat Universitària (University Debating League) of the Xarxa Vives d’Universitats which, in 2023, will hold the final at the Universitat de València. To be eligible to participate in the Lliga representing the Universitat de València, you must be enrolled in the academic year in which the competition takes place, have knowledge of Valencian that allows for good oral expression and register for the Local Phase of the Universitat de València. Registration is open from 13th September to 2nd October 2022 and places are limited.
The Local Phase of the Lliga de Debat consist of two parts. The students enrolled will have to take the courseParlar en públic (Valencian for Public Speaking), given by Gonçal López-Pampló Rius, lecturer in the Department of Catalan Studies (UV); Nuria Martin, theatre director, actress and teacher, and Ruben Arnandis i Agramunt, lecturer in the Department of Geography (UV). Once the training is finished, teams will be organised and the internal Universitat de València League will be played, with prizes for the winning team and for the best speaker.
