This permanent exhibition displays a wide significant selection of the Scientific-Medical Collection of the University of Valencia. This sample that is presented in a new exhibition of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry is a complementary of the exposure Scientific-Medical Collection of the University of Valencia 1: Science and Society that is exhibited in the Palau de Cerveró.

This collection started in the mid-seventies thanks to the work of Professor López Piñero. The modest initial core was composed of objects and instruments that could meet the same Faculty and Clinical Hospital. With time and selfless dedicating of generations of teachers and staffs who have passed over the last forty years by the institution, have organized a number of temporary exhibitions while the collection has grown thanks to the selfless individual donations as well as institutions.
