Universitat de València students who are keen on spending an international period abroad can participate in the Information Days of the XIX International Week from 8 to 12 November.

The activities are focusing on informing and motivating all students about how to make an international Mobility abroad in the academic year 2022-23.

The best known programme is Erasmus, the 35-year-old international mobility programme of the European Union, which allows students to spend a semester or an accademic year at other European universities. But there is also the possibility of travelling to universities in other regions of the world such as the United States, China, Australia or South American states. In addition, presentations will also explain how to get an internship in a foreign company or how to become a student at FORTHEM: the European University alliance of the University of Valencia.

35 information sessions are scheduled, classified by degree or by type of mobility programme. The activities will take place presentialy and online formats.

The online sessions will be hosted on the youtube channel of the International Relations Office. The Vice-rectorate for Internationalisation and Cooperation, in collaboration with those responsible for the mobility programmes of the 18 centres of the Universitat de València will be in charge of carrying out this informative activity.

On the other hand, from 8 to 26 November, students can apply for a mobility Erasmus or international programme Exchange for the academic year 2022-23: https://webges.uv.es/uvPortalUVWeb/   

University of Valencia, according to the SEPIE (Spanish Service for the Internationalisation of Education), is the second Spanish university sending Erasmus students to Europe. In the academic year 2019-20, according to Jochen Müller, director of the European Commission Erasmus Representation, the Universitat de València is the top European university receiving incoming Erasmus students in Europe.
