Memorias invertidas Sessions. Towards a Valencian history of repression and gender-based dissidence

29.09.2022-06.10.2022

The Universitat de València is hosting the first session of the Memorias Invertidas (Inverted Memories) conference, organised by l’Armari de la Memòria, a service of the Vice-presidency and Department of Equality and Inclusive Policies, in collaboration with the five Valencian public universities, which is intended as a starting point for the recovery of LGTBI memories and which aims to construct a specifically Valencian history of repression and sex-gender dissidence.

Five sessions, dedicated monographically to different themes, will take place from 29th September to 6th October in the cities of Valencia, Alicante, Elche and Castelló de la Plana, which can be attended in person or by streaming. Registration is free of charge and is open via the website larmari.gva.es.
