From 13 October to firts of November the registration is open for UV Volunteering, a proposal of the Universitat de València that aims to train students in a critical view of reality, having the opportunity to be part of its transformation and contribute to the creation of a fairer and more equitable society.

The initiative has two actions: face-to-face training, lasting 25 hours, and participation in the voluntary works that are part of the programme:

• UV Cultural Volunteering
• UV Volunteering in diversity
• UV Volunteering in prevention and intervention in gender-based violence. Violet spaces
• UV Volunteering in sustainability
• UV Volunteering in support for students with disabilities
• UV Volunteering in cooperation
• Volunteering in socio-educational mentoring with children, adolescents and young people
• Volunteering in the promotion of human rights for refugees

For participating in UV Volunteering, undergraduate students can obtain 1 ECTS credit for the training and a variable number of credits depending on the volunteering in which they participate. Registration is free and places are limited.

The Information and Promotion Service is responsible for coordinating the training programme and supports the units, services and organisations promoting each volunteering programme.
