    The Quality Unit participates in the 10th Days of the UTC’s

    The 10th Days of Reflection and Debate of the Quality Units of the Spanish Universities were held in Ibiza. In these days, issues related to the accreditation of universities degrees and the DOCENTIA programme have been addressed. Technical aspects related to good practices and the dissemination of the culture of quality within the scope of Higher Education have also been addressed. The main objective of this meeting is to unite synergies to try to overcome the problems that emerge in the day to day of the Quality Units of Spanish Universities.

    Teaching staff assessment surveys are already available

    Until May 19th, undergraduate and Master's degrees students can answer questionnaires to assess those teachers who have taught at least 15 hours in subjects of the second semester and annuals subjects. The surveys are available at Secretaria Virtual.

    The document, prepared on the occasion of the preparation of the University Management Report, shows the most significant actions corresponding to this unit during 2018.

    Four PhD programmes have been presented to renewing accreditation

    The Universitat de València presents AVAP the first four doctoral programmes for the renewal of accreditation. The programs evaluated are the PhD Programmes in Physics, in Chemical, Environmental and Process Engineering, in Advanced Hispanic Studies and in Dentistry.

    The Vice-Principal for Strategy, Quality and Information Technologies and the Quality Unit are meeting with the directors of the Doctoral Programmes

    The Vice-Principal for Strategy, Quality and Information Technologies, along with members of the Quality Unit, are holding work meetings on the 14th and 15th of February with the directors of the doctoral students of the Universitat de València who have to renew their accreditation in 2019. They will discuss the master lines to prepare the paperwork and proof that the Agència Valenciana d’Avaluació i Prospectiva (AVAP) requires to evaluate the quality of the doctoral students.

    On February 11th and 12th, the Faculty of Chemistry will host the committee that has to assess the Degree in Chemistry to obtain the EUROBACHELOR® International Quality Label.

    The first evaluation period of teaching ends with an increase of 4.4% in participation

    On December 31, the first general evaluation period of teaching ended, although those surveys with a change of dates will remain active. To date, 63328 surveys have been received, 4.4% more than last year and 6.9% more than two years ago. Many thanks to all of you for your collaboration.

    Record number of surveys received in one day

    Yesterday the teacher assesment period was opened and 7425 surveys were received. This has exceeded the maximum number of surveys received in a single day since they are being carried out through the online procedure.

    The Quality Unit participates in the 13th European Quality Assurance Forum (EQAF)

    The event, hold in Vienna from 15 to 17 November, was gathering more than 400 participants from four continents to interchange opinions and experiencies under the theme: "Broadening the scope of QA".
