La Universitat de València se situa al capdavant de les universitats valencianes segons el rànquing QS Europa que s’acaba de publicar. Aquesta edició del QS es basa en 12 indicadors: reputació acadèmica, reputació de l’ocupador, cites, articles, xarxa internacional d’investigació, la capacitat d’atracció de professorat i d’estudiants internacionals, cites per professor, ràtio professor-estudiant, resultats d’ocupació i sostenibilitat. La Universitat de València manté el lideratge a la Comunitat Valenciana en les últimes tres edicions. Enguany s’ha analitzat un total de 958 centres d’educació superior. La Universitat destaca en el seu perfil internacional.

The Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS), or Shanghái Ranking by subjects, has confirmed that the Universitat de València (UV) is among the best of Spain. Of the 57 subject areas analysed in 2025, the academic institution is the first of Spain in Business Management and Administration, in Atmospheric Sciences and in Sociology, and is second in Food Science and Technology, Remote-sensing, Education, Management, Public Health, Clinic Medicine and Chemistry. In addition, in ten of the fields it is among the top five. As for the Valencian area, the Universitat de València is first in twenty-five. Worldwide, the UV is number 43 in remote sensing (which places it in the Top 50), and is among the top 100 in the world in three other fields of knowledge: Business Management, Food Science and Technology and Hotel and Tourism Management.

Universitat de València (UV) has gone up the Taiwan ranking, an international classification for university performance based on scientific publications and quotes. UV is the fourth best in Spain and first un València. It has also gone up in Europe and internationally in comparison to 2024 (4 and 5 places up respectivelly, landing the 82-84 placein Europe and 223 globally). In subjects, UV is first in Spain for Economics and Business; top 3 in Geoscience, second place in Agriculture Science and Physics; third place in Ecology, Environmental Science and Engineering; and top 3-5 in Spatial Science. The Universitat de València (UV) maintains their results in the CyD ranking, a State classification of universities that uses 38 indicators to measure the academic activity of each institution. In 20 of them, the performance of the Valencian centre is valued the highest, and in 14, one more than the last year, as halfway. Furthermore, in the classification by fields of knowledge, in Physics the academic institution is the second of Spain with more indicators of high performance. The Observatorio IUNE, which analyses the academic and research activity of the public and private Spanish universities, highlights that the Universitat de València (UV) has increased the number of citations of articles from their teaching staff a 6,72% between 2024 and 2025, so it has gone from 983.450 references to 1.049.592, which means 66.142 more citations. As for the number of publications, the institution has reached 39.361 in the 2025 edition, compared to the 38.035 in 2024.

The Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS), or Shanghai Ranking by subjects, has ranked the University of Valencia (UV) among the world’s top 100 institutions in four areas: Remote Sensing (42nd position), Food Science and Technology (ranked 51-75), Tourism (51-75) and Business Administration (51-75). Of the 30 subjects analysed, the institution ranks first in Spain for Business Administration and Law, second for Remote Sensing, and third for Tourism. The Business Management and Administration (BMA) studies at the University of Valencia are the best in Spain, according to the Scimago-Institutions Rankings (SIR), a classification that evaluates the 4,533 best universities and scientific research institutions. In this Scopus ranking, one of the main providers of bibliometric data in the world, it is also shown that in Economics and Econometrics the Valencian centre is the second best in the country, that the institution as a whole has advanced from Spanish position 4-5 in 2022 to 3 in 2023 and that the UV occupies the world position 135 in the Research indicator.

The University improves in visibility on the Internet and is already second in Spain in the CSIC Webometrics ranking

The Web Ranking (Webometrics) of universities is an initiative of the CSIC’s Cybermetrics Lab research group that analyses 11,998 entities and measures their presence and visibility on the web. According to the latest update, the University of Valencia (UV) improves one position and is already the second Spanish centre of higher education, in addition to the first Valencian one. At an international level, it ranks 187 and by indicators, in impact/visibility, or number of external networks that the UV receives, it improves 66 positions compared to 2021 and reaches the world position 249.

The University of Valencia (UV) is the third Spanish higher education institution, the first Valencian one and improves positions on a European and international scale, according to the latest update of the University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP), which measures the quality and quantity of the scientific publications from up to 3,000 universities around the world. Compared to the previous edition (2020-2021), the Valencian centre climbed to 210th place in the world, after advancing 7 positions, while at the European level it climbed one, to 85th.

The second edition of the Service Charters of the secretary's offices of the centres of the University of Valencia has been approved.

The Vice-Principal for Studies and Language Policy, Isabel Vázquez Navarro, has approved the second edition of the Service Charters of the secretary's offices of the centres of the University of Valencia, which are available on the websites of the centres and in the Catalogue of Service Charters of the University of Valencia. The period of validity of these charters will be four years, from 1 January 2022.

The University of Valencia (UV) has improved for the fourth consecutive year internationally in the Best Global Universities research ranking and is advancing 14 positions this year, to 212 in the world. In Europe, the institution climbs to 88 (9 positions). In Spain it remains the fifth best and is the first Valencian one. By subjects, the UV occupies the twelfth world position in Agricultural Sciences (first in Spain) and is the 68th in the world in Environmental and Occupational Health, in addition to being first in the Valencian Public System in 21 of the 27 classified subjects.
