On Tuesday, April 8 and April 15, from 1 pm to 3 pm, ‘Conèixer els màsters’ will take place at the Blasco Ibáñez and Burjassot campuses, respectively. The initiative, which aims to provide first-hand information about the official master's degree studies of the Universitat de València to interested undergraduate students and resolve their doubts, will be held for the first time at the Blasco Ibáñez campus and for the second time at the Burjassot campus.

Intervención psicosocial para mejorar la salud laboral en docentes

El martes 27 de junio tuvo lugar en la Facultad de Psicología la presentación de un proyecto de investigación sobre las técnicas para la disminución de los riesgos psicosociales en el trabajo. El profesor Departamento de Psicología Social de la Universitat de València Pedro R. Gil-Monte es quien ha dirigido la investigación, que concluye que la intervención psicosocial resulta eficaz para mejorar la salud laboral en docentes y puede contribuir a reducir el gasto sanitario derivado de los riesgos psicosociales en el trabajo.

Con motivo del día internacional de la Prevención de Riesgos Laborales y del 30ª Aniversario del Palau de la Música de València, el próximo viernes 28 de abril, tendrá lugar una jornada técnica de ámbito nacional en la que se analizarán las medidas de prevención y emergencia de los accidentes laborales. El evento contará con un total tres conferencias y una mesa redonda, en las que participaran algunos de los profesionales, asociaciones y entidades implicadas en el tema con mayor reconocimiento del Pais Valencià.

Professor Pedro R. Gil-Monte, co-director of the Master’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety of the UV, has received the special recognition of the Consejo Nacional de Seguridad Chile for his participation as a guest lecturer in the “18th National Session on Accident Risk Prevention and Occupational Health”, held in Santiago de Chile from 11 to 14 October 2016 (JORNAPRASO 2016). The National Security Council of Chile is a corporation “created in 1953 by government determination, with the basic objective of promoting risk prevention and raising awareness about the need to prevent accidents and occupational diseases in the different activities of the national life”.

Una sentència exigeix que els treballadors temporals tinguen les mateixes indemnitzacions que els fixos

La legislació espanyola actual regula de forma diferent les condicions de les indemnitzacions dels treballadors temporals i els fixos. El passat 14 de setembre el Triunal de Justícia de la Unió Europea va indicar en una resolució que aquesta diferenciació és discriminatòria i que s'han d'aplicar les mateixes condicions sense tenir en consideració la durada del contracte.
