Després de les decisions adoptades pel govern de la Generalitat el matí del dilluns 6 de setembre, les conselleres competents en Sanitat i en Universitats s’han reunit amb les rectores i rectors de les universitats públiques valencianes. En aquesta reunió s’ha acordat ratificar el protocol d’inici de curs acadèmic aprovat per la Conselleria de Sanitat el 22 de juny. En base a eixe protocol el Consell de Govern de la Universitat va aprovar el passat mes de juny la planificació de la docència de les seues titulacions oficials amb criteris de presencialitat.

Per això, està repartint aquestes setmanes, en tots els serveis i centres de la Universitat, tres nous tipus de papereres que milloraran la recollida selectiva de diferents residus: blaves, grogues i negres.

Emergency drill at La Nau

On December 11th, the emblematic La Nau Cultural Centre carried out its first emergency drill. The purpose of the drill (in this case, fire) was to test the procedures for dealing with emergencies. After the automatic detection of the smoke, the emergency teams were mobilised, led by the head of the emergency department, the Vice-Principal Antonio Ariño. All under the watchful eye of a team of observers made up of three firemen from the València City Council's Fire, Prevention, Emergency Intervention and Civil Protection Department and a dozen technicians from the Prevention and Environment Service and the Technical and Maintenance Service. Thus, among other actions, the building was completely evacuated at its external meeting point, located in the Patriarca's Square, 112 was called, the firemen were greeted, etc. The drill is part of the implementation process of the centre's recent Self-Protection Plan. This process has also included the training and prior appointment of emergency teams and the installation of evacuation plans in the building, in three languages.

Jornades del Plan d’Autoprotecció del Centre Cultural La Nau

Dilluns 7 i dimarts 8 d’octubre el Servei de Prevenció i Medi Ambient va dur a terme dues jornades d’implantació del Plan d’Autoprotecció del Centre Cultural La Nau, l’edifici històric de la Universitat de València. Les jornades van comptar amb la participació del nostre servei i del Departament de Bombers, Prevenció, Intervenció en Emergències i Protecció Civil de l’Ajuntament de València. Es tracta d’una fase més dins del procés d’implantació del pla, que continuarà amb més activitats, entre d’altres, un simulacre d’emergència.
