On Tuesday, April 8 and April 15, from 1 pm to 3 pm, ‘Conèixer els màsters’ will take place at the Blasco Ibáñez and Burjassot campuses, respectively. The initiative, which aims to provide first-hand information about the official master's degree studies of the Universitat de València to interested undergraduate students and resolve their doubts, will be held for the first time at the Blasco Ibáñez campus and for the second time at the Burjassot campus.

The General Foundation of the UV calls students of the University of Valencia to submit their entrepreneurship projects in culture and social economy, two of the fields hit hardest by the COVID-19 pandemic. The deadline for submission has been extended until the 15th of March. This open call is part of the European project JUVEN-EYE, which promotes employment for young people.

Amb el títol "Un conflicte entre dos èpoques" es conjuga una dualitat d'interessos, primer entre les àrees d'història moderna i d'història medieval per comprendre una època de cruïlla en el regne de València, i segon respecte altres i coetanis indrets ibèrics, que amb idèntics esclats reivindicatius dels oficis i del poble s'inspiraven en drets d'origen medieval.

The Research Workshop on Medieval studies (TIEM) is the main activity organised by the IDEM group. It is a periodic seminar addressed to degree, master’s degree and doctoral students, structured in short 30-minutes sessions on the different disciplines that configure the Medieval studies –History, art, palaeography, archaeology, legal history, literature, philology and others– given by young doctoral candidates. The speakers provide with work materials, perform their presentation in a way than, after, there can be a debate and a joint discussion in a round table that includes all the attendants. The activity aims to initiate the degree students into the research practices, as well as encourage the interdisciplinary nature among the master’s degree and doctoral programmes students. The workshop takes place monthly on Mondays at 16:00 at the Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Geography and History of the Universitat de València. It is a very stimulating experience both in an intellectual and in an academic level, in order to deal with the logistic problems that could show in a first research, as those who are expected to be carried out for the undergraduate degree or master’s degree final projects.

On Wednesday 15 June it was formalised the signature of four new agreements at the Boardroom of La Nau, by which the UV increases its cultural heritage. Among the donors there are two families of artists, Jesús Castelló’s and Paco Bascuñan’s, the photojournalist J. García Poveda (“El Flaco”) and Vicent Álvarez, who is to be director of the legal services of the Universitat de València and a member of the Valencian Culture Council.
