The Chair of Feminist Economics at the Universitat de València wants to promote a space in which to share and discuss positions that, from the perspective of Feminist Economics, insist on the need for a change of outlook that will allow a socio-economic model that generates inequality and suffering to be transformed, pointing out its hetero-patriarchal nature and problematising its appearance of evidence and immutability.
With this task, Fem_Economia_Feminista_La_Nau is born, a cycle of activities that in this year, 2018, will develop the following programme of contents:
- "Eco-feminist views to reverse the war on land and bodies." Yayo Herrero. April 24th at 6 pm. Magna Room.
- "Of the (im) possibility of care in the neoliberal era." Marta Malo. May 14 at 6 p.m. Seminar Room.
- "From measured times to lived time." Cristina Carrasco. June 4 at 18 h. Seminar Room.
Simultaneously, a co-educational workshop for boys and girls will be held. Gonzalo Montiel Classroom.
The organisation of this cycle is coordinated by:
M. Luisa Moltó (Director of the Chair for Feminist Economis of the UV) and Lucía Gómez (Master Degree in Gender and Equality Policies of the Universitat de València).
