The Saló de Graus of the Faculty of Law of the Universitat de València will host the third edition of the “International Congress on Care, Equality and Diversity. The recognition of the Rights of Care”.
On May 25th and 26th, the International Congress on Care, Equality and Diversity will take place in Valencia, directed by the lecturer of the Department of Constitutional Law, Political and Administrative Sciences Ana Marrades, and organised by the Chair for Feminist Economics. In this third edition, the Congress will focus on the configuration of care rights, so the contents will revolve around the right to care and the right to care for.
On the programme for the day of the 25th, there will be two round tables. In these round tables, professors of constitutional law will present their papers on the right to care and the right to care for.
On the 26th, a symposium on international care systems will take place. Subsequently, four constitutionalists will make an assessment of the advisability of recognising the right to care. Finally, in the afternoon, there will be a space for dialogue with the presentation and report of the papers presented.
The terms for submission of papers and registration are now open. Proposals for papers can be submitted until April 25th and the deadline for registration is May 15th.
