The University Institute of Women’s Studies, the Feminist Economy Chair and the Equality Unit of the Universitat de València organise on 27 September the welcome session of the new edition of the Master's Degree in Gender and Equality Policies.
This master’s degree, which is in its 11th edition, has as its main objective the study and value of the gender equality policies and the contributions made by women in all the fields of knowledge throughout history. The welcome session is addressed to teaching staff and students of first and second year, and will take place at La Nau Cultural Centre on Wednesday 27 September.
Among the main activities of this session, it stands out the conference of the professor and activist Yayo Herrero, which is entitled “Moving towards an economy that focuses on life” and will be held in the Seminar Rooms of La Nau from 6:30 pm. Afterwards it will take place, in the Chapel of the same building, a conference on history of music for piano composed by women from 18th to 20th centuries, accompanied with the live music of the pianist Renata Casero.
