There is an important collection of books published between the late 19th century and the early 20th century in this library. They are unknown to most users. Following the initiative of other European university libraries, I would like to begin the year of 2009 a process of publicizing them. Giving individualization within a general context such as the Humanities Library “Joan Reglà”, and, at the same time, to promote a qualified collection included in the Library and Documentation Service of the University of Valencia. So I have created a new space: BOOK OF THE MONTH. It will incorporate a scanned title page with a brief comment and bibliographic description to locate the item in the library. Although any book can be exposed according to the above criteria, preference will be those related to some of the scientific, literary events and so on, commemorated that month.
It is for these reasons I would like to receive suggestions or comments from interested readers of this section in this topic. All of them will be welcome.
