After the Civil War, a homosexual singer, a pianist and his girlfriend Pepita form a group that will become famous and succesful in Spain. After arriving to Madrid, the worst moments for their career arrive; the capital aristocracy, numb and seeking for emotion runs over Mario for being homosexual. At the same time, Pepita's mother conspires to break her up with her boyfriend. (FILMAFFINITY)
