Sunday 7th March, the AlumniUV Collective will walk through Oriola in the warmth of the verses of Miguel Hernández. Accompanied by the voice of the mezzo-soprano Empar Llàcer and the stories of Ximo Corts, the AlumniUV will enter one of the most monumental cities in the Valencian Community. Registration starts in February 10th in www.fil-per-randa.com.

Departure at 8:00 a.m. from Nuevo Centro. Of all Valencian cities, Oriola is the most monumental after València. We will visit the gothic cathedral, the Saint Dominic’s Convent, the most important Valencian Renaissance building, the old University, the Episcopal Palace, the Circus Theatre and the Miguel Hernández House Museum. Everything with Miguel Hernández’ poems, recited by Empar Llàcer.

Miguel Hernández, people’s poet, who showed a solid commitment to the poorest and most disadvantaged through his most social work, has been one of the most representative Valencian playwrights in the Spanish language in the 20th century.
