On Saturday September 26, the AlumniUV collective offered two guided tours through the Republican Valencia, a proposal "for observation and reflection on events that happened in specific places," according to guide Jose Mª Azcárraga. The activity was part of the Alumni Comparteix program and registration was essential. The activities were open to the general public as well as members of the collective.
To formalize the registration, you will have to choose one of the two groups that have been created. Group 1 will attend the Torres de los Serranos and the route will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Group 2 will attend the Lluis Vives Institute and the route will be from 11am to 1pm. However, other spaces and outstanding events that occurred after the proclamation of the Republic in 1931 are not forgotten, ”he explains. In this sense, a diverse itinerary has been developed that includes the different relevant themes of the Republican period. "That is why places related to daily life, education, political life, the capital of the city, architecture, war and culture have been sought," he concludes.
