Millennial China - Short Film Screening 

The Asian Film and Video Festival in Madrid presents at the Cinema Club of the Universitat de València. 

Younger, more daring and socially relevant films are the focus of the special Millennial China programme, which celebrates the Chinese New Year 2020 by showcasing the work of several emerging Chinese and European directors.

Millennial China will screen five short films that show the young perspective of the new millennium in millennial China in order to give us a glimpse of new generations inside and outside China.

The screening will feature a presentation and will be followed by a colloquium by the hand of the curator and sinologist Susana Sanz and the directors of Chinese origin Yu Depeng and Xiaomei Espiro.

-Animal salvaje (Savage animal). Yu Depeng (2019) 11’
