Escena Erasmus is a groundbreaking European theatre project of the Universitat de València, promoted by the Offices of the Vice-Principals of Culture and Society and Internationalisation and Multilingualism, which are managed by the General Foundation of the Universitat de València.

Participants of Escena Erasmus primarily include European Erasmus exchange students and students from the UV. The project aims to leverage their creative potential while they spend a year in different European cities and promote their participation in the cultural life in those cities.

The Escena Erasmus performances, staring the students and directed by a  team of Valencian performing arts professionals, have been showcased in more than 300 cities and festivals.

Now and until 10 October, the registration period will be open for the 2024-25 academic year, and once this period has ended, an audition period will take place.

The students who are admitted to the group will receive:

- an intensive actor training course with theatrical practice worth 2 credits (ECTS)

- the opportunity to create, produce and perform in a large-scale show, which, following its premier, will tour through several cities in the Valencian Community, also worth 2 credits (ECTS)

- intermittent cultural artistic activities in collaboration with different public and private Valencian, Spanish and European institutions

- intermittent  cultural exchanges with the international Erasmus Europe on Scene Network
