  • Purpose and conditions of treatment

The data of the persons who carry out the registration process, those of the minors registered and the data provided by third parties named as contact persons will be incorporated into the information systems of the University of Valencia for the purpose of managing the Summer School Programme, registrations, activities and services provided.

Additionally, if authorised, the following data will be processed:

  1. Health data to guarantee the health and safety of the participant in the Summer School Programme in cases of requiring medication, allergies, people with disabilities or food intolerances.
  2. Images of the minor in photographic, video or sound format in the following cases, which must be authorized separately:
    1. Recording images of the activities to provide mothers and fathers with a graphic souvenir of the activities. Important: These images will be distributed with a secure system. If you accept, you commit yourself to make a private use and not to divulge them in social networks and Internet spaces. We remind you that contravening this prescription can lead to economic liability for infringement of data protection regulations and/or the actions of the Public Prosecutor's Office. If you do not authorize it, the organization will guarantee a non-discriminatory treatment of the affected people.
    2. Recording of images of the activities for public dissemination on University websites and the media.
    3. Recording of images of the activities for use in the Activity Report, in the Annual Report of the Universitat, documentation of the Strategic Plan, and similar formats and publications in analogue or digital format (web etc.). Important: These images (b2 and b3) will always be taken in a general way and in no case will your sons and daughters be identified by name or surname. If you do not authorize it, the organization will guarantee a non-discriminatory treatment of the affected people.
    4. Recording images of the activities for use in brochures and promotional actions and / or dissemination of the present or future Activity. Important - These images could be close-ups of your sons or daughters. The organization will contact you specifically to require additional consent in case the images are not general. If you do not authorize it, the organization will guarantee a non-discriminatory treatment of the affected people.
    5. Recording of images or sounds in activities that involve the elaboration and production of audiovisual content such as blogs, or radio or television programmes within the framework of the activity. Important. If you do not authorize it, the organization will guarantee a non-discriminatory treatment of the affected people.

In addition, we inform you that your data will be processed even without consent in the following cases:

  1. Necessary identification and health data will be communicated to third parties in the event of a medical or epidemiological emergency, both for the management of the appropriate insurance and to guarantee the vital interest of the minor.
  2. Your bank details will be communicated in order to manage payments.
  • Guaranty of the rights of the applicants

Users who provide their personal data have the right to request access to their personal data, and its rectification or deletion, or the limitation of its processing, or to object to it, as well as the right of data portability.

  • Storage of data

The data will be kept and, if appropriate, cancelled according to the following criteria

A. General

The data of the participants will be kept for a period of two years to allow their recovery and use in the case of minors who are below the maximum age limit of registration.

B. Last year students

In this case the data cannot be reused.

C. Fulfilment of legal obligations.
