Vicent Ferrer: un predicador de la tardor medieval

The 5th April 1419, the master Vicent Ferrer died in Vannes (Brittany) after preaching intensively since 1399. In addition, he participated since the beginning in State matters such as the Compromise of Caspe or the Western Schism. The historical Library of the Universitat de València, the Valencian Academy of the Language and the Archive of the Cathedral of Valencia homage this important figure with the exhibition: Vicent Ferrer. Un predicador de la tardor medieval. Bibliographical materials that will help us understand and study the preaching duties of the Valencian Dominican throughout Western Europe from 1399 to 1429 will be exhibited. Since he was named legatus a latere Christi by the Pope Benedict XIII.
