“Bitácoras textiles: Construcción de identidades en tiempo de pandemia” (Textile logbooks: Identity construction in times of pandemic)

Socio-cultural project whose goal is to generate a space of reflection in which to share experiences in complex times such as the Covid-19 pandemic.

We present this workshop with the intention of promoting community participation and building a collective memory via logbook embroidery.

Our workshop will be carried out throughout five sessions bonding reflection and embroidery, and it will feature various collaborating artists.

Once the project comes to a close, the photographic material gathered from sessions and the embroidered pieces featured in this workshop will be exhibited.

The audience can attend the exhibition at La Nau’s ambulatory and the UV’s Faculty of Social Sciences.

The whole community of the Universitat de València (students, PDI and PAS) and all the interested audience.

For reasons of compliance with the capacity allowed by Covid-19 safety norms, only the first 20 registration requests will be accepted. Should there be a higher demand, a waiting list will be made and priority will be given to the ones on top in case of vacancies.
