Hidden Valencian heritage. Online speech (Alumni Comparteix Programme)

Valencian cultural heritage is made up of movable and immovable assets, as well as intangible assets from the ethnological heritage, the creations, practices and knowledge of traditional Valencian culture. Also considered as cultural heritage are the musical, artistic, gastronomic and leisure traditions, and especially those which have been transmitted orally and which promote the use of the Valencian language.

The speech by Enrique Collado (member of the Alumni programme) is included in this intangible heritage and will focus on those little-known festivities which are part of the Valencian collective imagination and which, due to their tradition and social and economic repercussions, have a significant cultural value. Some of these festivities are the Maderada de Cofrents, the Dansa Guerrera de Todolella, the Moros i Cristians de Biar or the Festa de les Carasses de Petrer.

The speech, open to the public, is part of the free Alumni Comparteix programme and requires prior registration.
