Webinar 'Studies of labour market insertion of graduates of the UV'

The employment service of the University of Valencia has been working for years to promote, taking diverse lines of action, the employability of its students, as well as to improve their professional opportunities.

In order to measure the professional quality of UV graduates, UVocupació (UV employemnt service) carries out periodic studies on the Bachelor's and Master's degrees offered by the university. These studies analyses a set of indicators and disseminated global reports of the overall results and results by degree.

For this purpose, it was developed the EstiL app, a tool created in Power BI to quickly and interactively visualise the main results.

The periodicity of the studies has focused on the analysis of two classes. From this academic year onwards, the objective is analysing annualy the labour market insertion of each class even more rigorously.

The next webinar organised by UVocupació will be open to the entire university community (no prior registration required) on Wednesday, April 21st, at 12 noon, through the BlackBoard Collaborate platform, and will deal with this issue and others related to the Insertion Studies Area.

The Vice-Principal's Office for Employment and Training Programmes, Adela Valero; the director of UVocupació, Professor Marisa Quintanilla; the coordinator of the service, María José Torres; the coordinator of the Insertion Studies Area, Mª Carmen Bas; and the technician of the Area, Faisel Montañana, will take part in the event.
