History in capital letters is made up of stories in lower case.

And stories with lower case, of infinite stories of women.

Histories with lowercase is a play that won the Evarist Garcia 2020 Prize awarded by the Diputación de Alicante and will be premiered in Sagunto in June 2021. It is written and directed by Amparo Vayá and stars Miryam Garcés, Pepa Juan and Laura Useleti.

In the 9 scenes that make up the play you will witness the dreams, desires, frustrations, conflicts, demands and joys of many anonymous women. You will contemplate these women's stories with the counterpoint of such memorable historical moments as the arrival of man on the moon, Franco's death, the coup d'état, the "Pantanà", the Pope's visit to Valencia or the victory of the Spanish men's football team in the World Cup, among others.
