The Caixa Ontinyent - ESET University Chair for Innovation and Configuration of Intelligent Territories was created as a stable academic structure intended to the study, applicatin and dissemination of those procedures related to intelligent territories and specifically those that have to do with innovation in Ontinyent and its region. It is co-directed by professors Vicente Cerverón, from the Universitat de València, and Josep-Antoni Ybarra, from the Universitat d'Alacant.
The Chair has an economic support of 10 000 euros/year from each of the collaborator entities: Ajuntament d'Ontinyent, Caixa Ontinyent and Ontinet.
