Since the United Nations General Assembly (UN) proclaimed February 11^th as the International Women’s Day and Girls in Science in 2015, the Universitat de València has been organising various activities in order to achieve more participation and progress from women and girls in science.  This is the first year in which a constitutional act will be celebrated to remember the importance of promoting the full and equal participation of women and girls in education, training, occupation and decision-making processes in science. Official resolution A/70/474/Add.2

“The role of women in science dissemination” (El papel de la mujer en la divulgación de la ciencia) is the title of the panel discussion giving substance to the institutional act planned for February 11^th at 4:30 p.m. in virtual format for which prior registration is necessary:
