With this course, we strive to develop knowledge, attitudes, and practices that help people gain a sense of awareness as agents of change in their communities and co-creators of a shared world of diverse values and conflicting interests.

The concepts of citizenship, democracy, participation, civic culture or civic education will be discussed. The participants will follow practical classes, working on real case studies and developing their civic participation from the integral perspective. The organisers aim to promote an open, participating, and experimental work ecosystem that boosts cooperation between the academia, public administration, businesses, and civil society organizations. Thus, the students will be able to ponder about civic challenges and suggest the necessary means to address real-life problems, applying the learned material to boost the well-being of society.
