Research interests: My research focuses on the interplay between gravitational physics and quantum theory. I have a long-established research on the theory of quantized fields and gravity. I have been involved in several aspects of gravitational particle creation: from the physics of the very early universe to black hole evaporation.  I am co-author (with Dr. A. Fabbri) of the book "Modeling Black Hole Evaporation", ICP-World Scientific, London (2005).

Academic record: Graduate in Physics, University of Valencia, 1985. Ph. D. in Physic, University of Valencia, 1989. Postdoctoral researcher at the University of Florida (Gainesville, USA) (1989), Imperial College (London, UK), 1990-91, CERN (Geneve), 1991-92. Associate Professor, University of Valencia, 1994. Sabatical stay at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (USA), 2011. Full Professor, University of Valencia, 2011.

Academic Prizes:

Prize of the Cañada-Blanch Foundation, 1977.

Award for Excellence in Academic Performance, 1985, University of Valencia.
