notes:
We seek to publish insight-driven research favoring 'quality over quantity'; target media are high-quality journals with thorough peer-review and adequate readership.
We remind that the journal's so-called "Impact Factor" (IF) solely counts citations in the first two years after publication. We stress that this is neither per se correlated with quality, nor do we agree on the narrow defintion of research 'impact' in such short-term perspective; in fact, this reflects the interests of private enterprises, but not the meaning & relevance of science. We further stress that the IF is not per se correlated with the individual papers published there; finally, the IF is easily manipulated by journal's politics, and is explicitly designed as a self-fulfilling prophecy.
It is noted that search algorithms are biased by the specific commercial interest of its provider.
We strictly oppose citation cartels and extensive self-citation.
It is reminded that the h-index is not a quality indicator but an improved cite count to remove outliers; for a profile following normal distribution, h = ½ cites½
Predatory conferences, invented to pimp up CVs ("invited talks for sale"), are not supported.
