Opportunities

In close partnership with the Supramolecular Group, we are constantly looking for enthusiastic students, PhD and Postdocts to join the team. Funded PhD and PostDoctoral positions will be advertised when available. However, Jorge is always glad to hear from students and scientists showing great interest in his research and motivated to enrol SICAD-T. In the team, we conduct interdisciplinary projects having DNA/RNA as common subject in which researchers develop/train their skills in organic and inorganic metal-based synthesis, biophysical and biochemistry assays, imaging technology and cell biology. We strongly encourage a collaborative approach among members and facilitate life–work balance to embrace a positive working environment.
The team is located at the Institute of Molecular Science (ICMol) of the University of Valencia in the Scientific Park of the Campus of Paterna (Valencia). ICMol is one of the Maria de Maeztu units of excellence in Spain with cutting-edge technologies in chemistry although we strongly collaborate with groups and facilities of different areas such as biology and biochemistry. Some funding bodies to apply within the team:

For PhD:
*Formation of University Professorship program of the Ministerio de la Ciencia, la Tecnología y la Innovación (FPU).
*PhD Fellowship program of Generalitat Valenciana (ACIF)
*"Atracción del Talent" PhD program of the University of Valencia
*La Caixa PhD Fellowship program (INPhINIT)
*Santiago Grisolía Fellowship program for international students (GRISOLÍA)

For PostDocts:
*Marie Skłodowska-Curie Intra-European Fellowships (IEF)
*"Atracción del Talent" Postdoctoral program of the University of Valencia
*Postdoctoral researcher of Generalitat Valenciana (APOSTD)
*La Caixa 'Junior Leader' Fellowship Programme
*Postdoctoral HSFP program
