SURFACE FLUXES AND METEOROLOGICAL DATA

The University of Castilla-La Mancha, through the "Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Agrónomos", owns three agroclimatologic stations in the study area of Barrax:

  • Las Tiesas-Anchor Station (39º 02' 31" N; 2º 04' 55" W)
  • Las Tiesas-Lisímetro (39º 03' 30" N; 2º 05' 24" W)
  • Blancares (39º 06' 45" N; 2º 06' 40" W)

Also, the University of Castilla-La Mancha has another permanet station of type "Anchor Station" in Tomelloso (only used in 1999 campaign), located at the Centro Regional de Experimentación Vitivinícola (39º 10' 22" N; 2º 59' 48" W).



Description of Las Tiesas and Tomelloso Anchor Stations

    Las Tiesas - Anchor Station

    Both stations belong to the Permanent Station Network of the University of Castilla-La Mancha and are connected by modem with the central computer at the Institut for Regional Development in Albacete. The data is compiled and stored automatically for later treatment, as well as being accessible inreal time. Measurements are done by all sensors every 30 seconds and arestored every 10 minutes.
