The academics Marisol Lila, Amparo Oliver, María Victoria Lorenzo y Alba Catalá, who belong to the faculty of the Universitat de València analyse in their study: “Valuation of the risk of relapse related to violence against women in partner relationships: the importance of social support”, published in 2013, the importance of the valuation of the risk of recidivism as one of the main preventive strategies when it comes to conjugal violence.

Amb l’objectiu d’analitzar els aspectes importants a considerar en la intervenció grupal que es realitza en els programes psico-educatius dirigits a aquells homes que han sigut condemnats per un delicte de violència de gènere; Marisol Lila (professora del Màster en Psicologia General Sanitària que ofereix la Universitat de València i coordinadora de l'assignatura “d’Actualitzacions i avanços en les aproximacions biopsicosocials a la salut i malaltia” de segon curs); Santiago Boira (Universitat de Zaragoza, España) i Pablo Carbajosa (Institucions penitenciaries, SGPMA d’Almeria, Espanya) realitzen un estudi titulat: “Principals Reptes en el Tractament Grupal dels Homes Condemnats per un Delicte de Violència de Gènere” publicat en 2014.

Professors Amelia Díaz, of the Department of Psychological Personality, Evaluation and Treatment of the Faculty of Psychology of the Universitat de València, and Teresa Lanjón, nurse and psychologist of the Hospital Clínico Universitario of Valencia, present an intervention programme of a biopsychological nature that can be adapted to different types of caregivers. This programme includes psychosocial variables and biological variables assigned to the nursing field.
