Next 6th February, the 4th Edition of the Science Week of Oliva will take place. This time, it is focused on disseminating a sustainable economic model that respects the environment. The Chair EBC for the Common Good of the Universitat de València will participate in this event.

The 4th Science Week of Oliva 2020 is committed to a change in the economic model based on a sustainable economy that improves the environment. The goal of this Science Week is to invest in education and scientific research in order to achieve a better job offer. This is also done to build a better and healthier world.

Within the framework of the activities held on the 4th Science Week of Oliva 2020, Professor and Director of the Master’s Degree in Business Strategy of the Universitat de València, Vanessa Campos, will give a conference (from 10 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.) on business models. This conference is aimed to give a better understanding of the different types of sustainable business models that exist and their application to small businesses, analysing business from the perspective of sustainability and inclusion. Next, from 12 p.m. to 1.30 p.m., the UV’s EBC Chair Director, Joan Ramon Sanchis, will give a conference on ethical banking with the purpose of exposing the different sustainable banking options available (ethical banking, cooperative banking and collaborative finance) that can finance social and environmental entrepreneurship projects.
