Specific admission requirements and selection criteria
Students holding a degree, or qualification worth 240 ECTS credits, in Physics from a Spanish or EHEA adapted university, will automatically access the second year of the Masters, as their studies will be recognised in lieu of the 60 credits of the first year. Graduates from other studies within the Spanish university system, or from EHEA universities, who hold a degree worth 180 ECTS credits, or students of non-EHEA-adapted institutions, should submit their applications to the relevant Commission.
The selection process will be according to the student's academic record, CV and similarity of prior studies to that of the Masters. Depending on the abovementioned criteria, students may have already passed some or all of the 60 ECTS credits of the first year complementary training. The Commission may authorise students to pass directly to the second year of the Masters without having previously taken the 60 credits of further training.
Student admissions are the responsibility of the Academic Coordinating Commission of the Masters, whose membership structure is outlined in Article 15 of the Official Postgraduate Programmes regulations of the University of Valencia. The admission criteria are published in the University Study Guide, the Student Services webpage, the Postgraduate Services webpage and the webpage of the Masters itself.
Regarding students with special educational needs due to disability, the Selection Commission will establish support services and assessment, including the possibility of adapting the course curriculum to these needs.
