As of December 3, 2021, various activities will be scheduled to commemorate this centenary.
On December 3, 1921, the Faculty Board approved the creation of an Archeology Laboratory at the University of Valencia. The proposal was made by professor Luis Gonzalvo Paris and was unanimously approved.
One hundred years later this Laboratory continues to function within the Departament of Prehistory, Archeology and Ancient History fulfilling the founding objectives in addition to incorporating the most current lines of research.
