This estimate comes from one same study as the FLUVA (ii) estimate (1). Here, 3f_s / T_s = 4.0 ´ 10^-6 and c = 7. Hence, min[m_s/n/c] = 5.7 ´ 10^-7 and max[m_s/n/c] = 4.0 ´ 10^-6. Using the exponential plus lethal class model to correct for selection bias as in the FLUVA (ii) estimate, we obtain a = 0.33 and m_s/n/c = 1.7 ´ 10^-6.
