A drug resistance frequency f = 4.0 ´ 10-5 was obtained and it was determined that T = Ts =12, but c and the fitness effects of the mutations were unknown  (1).  Using Equation 6, max[ms/n/c] = 3 ´ 4.0 ´ 10-5 / 12 = 1.0 ´ 10-5.
