1^st October 2005: New students from Brazil and Morocco!

PhD student Mariela MATOS REYES has arrived from Pontificia Universidade Católica (PUC) do Rio de Janeiro in Brazil in order to work into our research group. In short, more partners from Brazil will come to work in our laboratories. Moreover, PhD student Amal GAMMOUN has come from Faculty of Sciences Ain Chock of Casablanca.

25^th September 2005: The New Course start

In order to finish their Master of Science Chemistry Students Romualdo RODA GUILLEM and Mario RAMOS GONZÁLEZ have decided to develop their Final Project into our research group.

Prof. Marisa CERVERA SANZ attend to the Colloquium Spectroscopicum Internationale XXXIV in the University of Antwerp, Belgium (4 - 9 September 2005).

1^st September 2005: New Socrates/Erasmus students from Mainz, France and Brazil!

Chemistry students Marlène KLEIN and Emilie CAUPOS have arrived from the Université Bordeaux I in France as Erasmus students to work in our laboratories. Next November, the chemistry students, Markus FEIGE, Janina FISCHER and Meike ROTH, will come from Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz for the same intention.

The Court of the Kalyani University has unanimously recommended Dr. Arabinda K. DAS for the position of the Vice-Chancellor of Kalyai University.

1^st August 2005 Welcome on board !

Dr. Ruma CHAKRABORTY joins our research team from the University of Burdwan (Burdwan, INDIA). She is now working in our laboratory in the field of trace element determination in geochemical samples. It is a new satge of an old friend who made a lot of work in the past on the field of microwave-assisted digestion of samples for their analysis by ETAAS.

Soufiane TAHIRI, Professor of Chemistry at the Faculty of Sciences El Jadida, University Chouïb Doukkali has visited our laboratory and facilities during a week.

20^th June 2005: Welcome back!!

Fernando A. IÑÓN came back for a "scientific visit" to our team.
He is Professor at the Department of Inorganic, Analytical and Physical Chemistry in the University of Buenos Aires and will stay till December.

1^st May 2005: Welcome on board !

Mohammad R. KHANMOHAMMADI joined our group in April 2005 as invited researcher from the Department of Chemistry in the Imam Khomeini International University (Qazvin, IRAN).

4^th March 2005: Thesis presented.

Patricia CAVA MONTESINOS has presented her Thesis "Empleo de las técnicas atómicas para el análisis multielemental y la especiación en alimentos".
