Marta Miragall will analyse the psychological and social consequences of the pandemic

Marta Miragall, professor of the Department of Personality, Evaluation and Psychological Treatments, will analyse the psychological and social consequences of the pandemic in a conference. The session will be held on Wednesday 6th April from 5 p.m. in the auditorium of the Faculty of Psychology (Avenida Blasco Ibáñez, 21).

The full title of the conference-colloquium is "Psychological and social consequences of the pandemic: What have we learned in these two years?" The event is organised by the Valencian Society of Psychology, the Faculty of Psychology and the Joan Baptista Peset Valencian Society of Health Sciences.

Marta Miragall obtained her degree in Psychology in 2010 at the Universitat de València with the extraordinary prize. Subsequently, she complemented her academic training with a master's degree in Advances in Research and Treatments in Psychopathology and Health and a master's degree in General Psychology from the UV. In July 2018 she obtained her PhD with the qualification of excellent cum laude with international mention.

She is a member of the LABPSITEC-València research group (https://labpsitec.blogs.uv.es/) and researcher of the CIBEROBN 'Fisiopatología de la Obesidad y la Nutrición (CB06/03/0052) (Instituto de Salud Carlos III).

Her line of research is framed within experimental psychopathology and the study of emotional and cognitive processes in psychological problems, promotion of healthy lifestyles, and evaluation and treatment through Information and Communication Technologies.
