The UNESCO-UV Chair on Global Education in the Mediterranean has participated in the event, organized by the University of Córdoba on 16 and 17 October.
The Chairs participated in board meetings and lectures on the action framework of the UNESCO Chairs and UNITWIN Networks of Spain in the current context. The meeting was closed with the redaction of a document that comprises the conclusions of the participating entities.
Conferences held during the meeting:
- “The Future of Higher Education”. Dr. Keith Holmes, Research Coordinator of the UNITWIN/UNESCO Chairs Programme.
- “The roadmap of UNESCO for the transformation of higher education. What are we expecting from UNESCO Chairs?”. Francesc Pedró, director of the UNESCO International Institute for Higher Education in Latin America and the Caribbean (IESALC).
- “The University between the past and the future”. Prof. Dr. Fernando Vallespín, Full University Professor of Political Science, Autonomous University of Madrid.
- Round tables: “The role of UNESCO Chairs and UNITWIN Networks of Spain”
