CALL FOR PAPERS ANNUAL EVENT OF FINANCE RESEARCH LETTERS

2021 VIRTUAL CONFERENCE FRONTIERS IN CREDIT RISK

July 5th – 6th

CONFERENCE THEME

For the Finance Research Letters 2021 virtual conference we would like to invite submission on substantial, original, and unpublished research. The focus of the conference is on new advances in credit risk. More specifically, new models, measures and approaches for pricing, management and mitigation of credit risk. Broadly, the papers should be focused in theory, practice, and applications on credit risk, including the analysis, quantification, supervision and transmission of credit risk as well as its relationship with sustainable finance.

CALL FOR PAPERS

You are cordially invited to submit your research papers for presentation consideration at the Finance Research Letters 2021 virtual conference. The topics of the conference include but are not limited limits to: bank credit risk, counterparty credit risk, credit risk measurement modelling, portfolio credit risk, credit risk liquidity, credit risk analysis models, transmission and contagion, credit risk management, credit risk and sustainable finance. The conference encourages submissions from any part of the World. In particular, papers from Latin America will be especially well received.

AWARDS

Two prizes will be awarded, each prize will be 1,000 USD. The first of these awards the best paper of the entire conference and the second awards the best paper of a PhD student. It is important to mention that in this case, the student must be sole author.

JOURNAL PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITIES

The most outstanding articles will have the opportunity to be published in a Special Issue of Finance Research Letters or the Latin American Journal of Central Banking. Authors who want their paper to be considered for any of the two special issues need to clearly indicate during the conference submission process that they opt for dual submission, i.e., conference & journal. Among the papers with dual submission, a set of them will be considered for publication in the special issues by the Guest Editors and will go through the usual reviewing process according to the journal’s guidelines.
